Copyright & Takedown Policy
Last updated: July 2026
Tov Studio respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects the people who use this tool to do the same. This page explains what you agree to when you upload a photo, and how to report content you believe infringes your copyright.
Your responsibility when you upload a photo
By uploading a photo to the AI headshot tool, you confirm that you are the person in the photo or otherwise have the right to use it, and that generating an edited version of it does not violate anyone else's rights. Do not upload photos of other people without their permission, or images you do not own or have a licence to use.
For clarity on how your image is handled: your photo is sent to our AI provider (OpenAI) to produce the headshot and is not stored on our servers. The result is returned to your browser. We do not publish, host, or share the photos you upload or the headshots you generate.
Reporting copyright infringement
If you believe content associated with this tool infringes a copyright you own or control, please send a written notice to hello@tovstudiophoto.com with the subject line “Copyright Takedown Notice.” To help us act quickly, please include:
- Your contact information (name, email address, and physical or company address).
- A description of the copyrighted work you say has been infringed.
- A description of where the infringing material is located (for example, a URL) so we can find it.
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement that the information in your notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the copyright owner or are authorised to act on the owner's behalf.
- Your physical or electronic signature.
We review every notice and will remove or disable access to material we control that is found to be infringing.
Counter-notice
If you believe material of yours was removed by mistake or misidentification, you may send a counter-notice to the same address with your contact details, identification of the removed material, and a statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good-faith belief it was removed in error.
